Fake “free Robux” & reward scams to avoid

Not every “free reward” site is dangerous – but many are. These are the most common warning signs that a page is not safe for you or your child.

1. “Generators” that ask for your username

Sites that claim to generate unlimited Robux or other currency just by entering your username are almost always fake. They often:

  • Show fake “live user” counters or chat pop-ups
  • Pretend to “connect” to game servers
  • Ask you to complete suspicious tasks

2. Pages asking for passwords or 2FA codes

No real giveaway, survey or event needs your account password or two-factor authentication code. If a page asks for them, it is trying to take your account.

3. Pressure, countdowns and threats

Some scam pages use aggressive timers, pop-ups or messages like “Hurry! Only 2 spots left!” or “Your account will be banned unless you do this now”. These are psychological tricks to make people act quickly without thinking.

4. Copying the Roblox or game brand completely

Scammers often copy logos, fonts and colors to look like the official site. The safest habit is to always type official URLs yourself, or use the official app, instead of clicking random links from messages.

5. What SafeGameRewards looks for

When we decide whether to even show an example link, we look for:

  • No requests for passwords or security codes
  • Clear explanation of rewards and rules
  • Reasonable language, not threats or panic tactics
  • A way to leave or close the page without being trapped

If you're unsure – don't continue

If a page feels off in any way, the safest move is to close it and talk to a parent or trusted adult. Losing an account or personal data is never worth the risk of a “free” reward.
